here is a hotel in Paris, in the 8th arrondissement, that is the perfect getaway for a few nights
stay. Located at 51-57 des Courcelles Street, at only a few meters away from the Palais de
l’Elysée and the Faubourg St Honoré Street, the Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe is
an architectural masterpiece.
The style of the hotel, designed by architects Stanislas Fiszer, Jacques Garcia et Alexandre
Danan is inspired by transatlantic ocean liners and invites the travellers to rediscover the
splendour of the thirties. The façades reveal a perfect alliance between Haussman lines and
Art Deco motifs whereas they hide one of the largest open air hotel gardens in Paris.
We can’t look anywhere without feeling the urge of going on a trip. From the bedrooms to the garden and the
lobby, each room of the Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe has a rare material, a work of art or a furniture
acquired in an auction house. The connoisseurs will notice the 478 bedroom doors, sculpted in Brazilian
rosewood, or the bench made of bronze signed by Armand-Albert Rateau.
