sous le plus grand chapiteau du Monde

Après les sculpteurs Loris Gréaud et Tony
Gragg, le Louvre met à l’honneur Claude
Lévêque. La colonne centrale du musée accueille en effet, une œuvre monumentale du
plasticien français, spécialement produite à
cette occasion. Un néon rouge de 22 mètres
transperce verticalement la structure pyramidale imaginée par l’architecte Ieoh Ming Pei.
Invisible en plein jour, cet éclair contemporain
prend toute sa force et son incandescence
la nuit. Cette œuvre, installée pour une durée
d’un an et demi, constitue le premier volet
d’une exposition qui se poursuivra en 2015
dans les fossés du Louvre médiéval. I Claude
Lévêque under the world’s greatest capital,
from April 2nd 2014 to January 2nd 2015. After
honouring the sculpters Loris Gréaud and
Tony Gragg, the Louvre celebrates the work
of Claude Lévêque. In the central column of
the museum, a monumental work is installed, created especially for this occasion by the
French visual artist. A 22 meters high red neon
passes vertically through the pyramid structure designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei. Invisible in daylight, this contemporary lightening
shows its power at night.
This installation, set at the Louvre for a year
and a half, is the first part of an exhibition that
will continue into 2015, in the ditches of the
medieval Louvre. I

كلود ليفيك بعد أن استضاف أعامل النحاتني لوريس
جرييو وتوين كراج. يحتضن الهرم الزجاجي للمتحف
العمل الفني الضخم الذي أنجزه الفنان التشكييل
الفرنيس خصيصا لهذه املناسبة. وهو عبارة عىل مصباح
النيون، أحمر اللون، يبلغ طوله 22 مرتا و يخرتق
عموديا هيكل الهرم الذي صممه املهندس املعامري آي
إم ىب. غري مريئ يف وضح النهار، يأخذ هذا الربيق كل
.قوته وتوهجه يف الليل الحالك
سيستغرق عرض هذا اإلنجاز الضخم سنة ونصف، وهو الجزء األول من املعرض الذي سوف يستمر يف عام 5102 يف دهاليز متحف
