actu news ‫الأخبـــار‬ agenda I diary I ّ ‫املفكــرة‬ La Route de la Soie Musée l’Hermitage, Lausanne Du 1er mars au 05 septembre 2014 Le musée l’Hermitage célèbre la Route de la Soie au travers d’une exposition riche de 250 objets historiques. Peintures murales, soies précieuses, sculptures figurent parmi les reliques importées des treize sites de fouilles dans les divers royaumes et cités qui ont fait cette route mythique. Parmi ces précieuses pièces, l’Hermitage présente pour la première fois après restauration, une peinture murale de neuf mètres de long qui illustre le combat d’un dieu avec des bêtes sauvages et qui ornait l’ancien palais royal de Varakhsha (actuel Ouzbékistan). Cet itinéraire légendaire fut l’un des plus grands réseaux commerciaux au monde du Vème siècle Av. JC jusqu’à la fin du Moyen-âge, au XVème siècle. La Route de la Soie permit également de nombreux échanges culturels et la diffusion des idées, des langues et des religions. I Expedition Silk Road, from March 1st to September 5th 2014. The Hermitage museum celebrates the Silk Road through a rich exhibition that includes 250 historical objects. Mural paintings, precious silk and sculptures are amongst the relics imported from thirteen excavation sites in the realms and cities along the Silk Road. The Hermitage museum presents, for the first time after restoration, a nine meters long mural painting illustrating a god’s fight against wild beasts that once adorned the old royal palace Varakhsha (actual Uzbekistan). This legendary route was one of the largest commercial networks in the world from the 5th century BC to the end of the Middle Ages (15th century). The Silk Road also contributed to spreading ideas, languages and religions through numerous cultural exchanges. I 1.
