Hakimi
Yassine Hakimi est un photographe tunisien autodidacte, passionné par l’image depuis 2006. En 2010, il décroche
une maitrise en Langue et Littérature Anglaises. Parallèlement, il oriente sa vocation, la photo, vers une approche
documentaire qu’il entretient en participant à plusieurs workshops et ateliers. Depuis, il essaye de se perfectionner en expérimentant différents supports photographiques et en apprenant à manier des appareils argentiques,
Lomo et appareils en plastique. En 2011 il est membre actif au Club Photo de Tunis où il s’alloue les tâches d’inscriptions et de logistique. En Mars 2011, il participe à un atelier dirigé par Patrick Zachmann / Magnum Photos, à
l’institut Français de Tunis. Au mois de novembre de la même année, il se présente à l’atelier “État Des Lieux De
La Photographie | Tunisie” organisé par Shutter Party en collaboration avec Afrique in visu au B’chira Art Center
à Tunis. En Mars 2013 il participe au NOOR-Nikon Masterclass 2013, en compagnie de trois photographes de renommée internationale: Stanley Greene, Pep Bonet et Yuri Kozyrev. Actuellement, il travaille en collaboration avec
des associations tunisiennes locales tout en poursuivant des projets personnels.
Yassine Hakimi is a self-taught Tunisian photographer, passionate about image since 2006. In 2010, he obtains
a Master’s in English Litteratures. In parallel, he guides his vocation, photography, towards a documentary
approach that he develops through his participation in several workshops. Since then, he tries to improve himself,
experimenting various photographic formats and learning how to manipulate film cameras, Lomo and plastic
cameras. In 2011 he is an active member of the Tunis Photo Club where he takes care of the registration and
logistics tasks. In March 2011, he takes part in a workshop led by Patrick Zachmann / Magnum Photos, at the
French Institute in Tunis. In November of this year, he attends the workshop « État Des Lieux De La Photographie |
Tunisie » organized by Shutter Party in partnership with Afrique in visu at the B’chira Art Center in Tunis. In March
2013 he participates in the NOOR-Nikon Masterclass 2013, with three internationally renowned photographers :
Stanley Greene, Pep Bonet and Yuri Kozyrev. He currently works in cooperation with local Tunisian associations
while pursuing personal projects.
