‫خــا�ص‬ ّ I Special I Spécial Amine Boussoffara Tunisian photographer and sculptor with undeniable talents, Amine Boussoffara was born in 1974 in Mahdia, where he spent most of his childhood. His first images are published while he is a member of the Mahdia Youth Centre Photo Club in 1986. Between 1991 and 1995, he begins his career as a photographer, working in photo labs during summertime and reading magazines such as Chasseur d’image (Image hunter), Polka and Beaux Arts. Since then, he continues to feed his passion for photography through various personal activities. Amine is a fan of black and white art photographs, life scenes and close-ups, he is in love with Tunisia. He leaves during the nineties for the cities of Seliana, Jendouba and Tunis and gets inspiration from the everday lives of anonymous Tunisian people. This overview of his country will indubitably influence over twenty years of his career. Fascinated by men and their ability to shape space, the artist is curious about local environments, customs, culture and above all architecture.
