architect, who has built
over 300 buildings across
Tunisia, have shaped modern
architecture in the country.
Olivier Clément Cacoub was born on April 14th 1920 in Tunis, he is
the Grand Prix de Rome recipient in 1953. After three years at the
Villa Médicis and numerous travels, he has the opportunity to build
in Tunisia. He owes this chance to President Habib Bourguiba, who
entrusted him with the reconstruction of Monastir, his hometown.
