he National Office of the Tunisian Tourism, the ONTT, the Group Hi Life, owner of the Dar
Hi Hotel in Nefta, flagship of Dar Tunisia, (grouping of the new Tunisian hotel industry) join
forces with Panda Events, event agency whose team we owe The Electronic Beaches in
Cannes, the Martizik Festival in Martinique, The Miami Nice Jazz Festival and the Crossover
Festival in Nice, to present The Electronic Dunes, a music festival in Mos Espa, at the foot of
the rock Ong Jemel, where the movie Star Wars was shot. The objective is to highlight the
assets of the Tunisian South and to create a momentum for tourism and culture in the region.
Beyond a simple stay, the experience « The Electronic Dunes » is the opportunity to live a true immersion at the
heart of the Tunisian desert, to live an intense and timeless moment, a mirage at the doors of the Sahara.
From February 21th to 24th, the Tunisian and foreign festival-goers will gather around values and simple
emotions, (re)discover the customs and local traditions, all of it in a festive setting.
During three days, the festival will present higgledy-piggledy an evening event dedicated to the reading of
Tunisian stories and legends, a big night within the setting of Star Wars where the best artists of the
international music scene will be invited and a pool-party accompanied by a tasting session of regional dishes.
Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Tourism and to some agreements with tourism professionals (hotels,
airlines, …), the festival proposes all-inclusives holidays from Paris, Lyon and Nice.
The Electronic Dunes, it’s the opportunity for Tunisia, host of the festival, to offer a unique vision of its heritage,
while receiving an international media coverage. I
