Hiroshi Sugimoto. Accelerated Buddha

La Fondation Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent met à l’honneur l’artiste japonais Hiroshi Sugimoto en lui donnant carte blanche à l’occasion de sa 20ème exposition.
Accelerated Buddha est un regard personnel sur l’histoire du bouddhisme et particulièrement l’éveil des
consciences et l’humanisation du monde. Hiroshi Sugimoto exprime le rapport temporel de l’Homme au réel
au travers de photographies d’œuvres antiques puisées de sa collection personnelle et d’une vidéo des mille
statues de Bodhisattva du célèbre temple Sanjûsangendô de Kyoto. I Hiroshi Sugimoto. Accelerated
Buddha. The Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint-Laurent Foundation honours the Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto by
giving him white land on the occasion of his 20th exhibition. From October 10th 2013 to January 26th 2014.
Accelerated Buddha is a personal regard on the history of Buddhism and especially the awareness raising and
the humanization of the world. Hiroshi Sugimoto expresses men’s temporal relationship with reality through
pictures of antique works from his personal collection and a video of the statues of Bodhisattva in the famous
temple Sanjûsangendô in Kyoto. I
