erched at the top of the Jardin Alpin, at the location of the old olympic springboard,
L’Apogée offers a splendid view on the famous Courchevel Valley. After a few
renovations, the five-star hotel reopened its doors on December 12th 2014 to
pamper the snow enthusiasts.
The palace has 53 rooms and suites, two private chalets (including a spa and
a movie theatre) and an exquisite 350 m² penthouse, each of them finely decorated
by the designers India Mahdavi and Joseph Dirand. The latters have created
a warm atmosphere that reminds the comfort of old chalets, thanks to the successful alliance between
a contemporary decoration and noble materials such as wood, brushed brass and the Fior di Bosco marble.
After spending energy on the ski runs of Europe’s largest ski area, to which L’Apogée has a private access, the
guests will appreciate the smooth atmosphere at the bar, newly redecorated by Joseph Dirand. Besides, in
order to pamper the travellers, the hotel offers the chance to taste the world’s best cigars in the smoking
lounge, an elegant space devoted to this purpose.
Among the many services offered by the five-star hotel, the gourmet restaurant « Le Comptoir de L’Apogée » best
symbolizes the spirit of the palace, a perfect marriage between tradition and modernity elevated to luxurious new
heights. In one of the most prestigious panoramic views in Courchevel, the chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois offers a
menu that puts an emphasis on noble and fresh products, celebrating French and Japanese gourmet cuisine. I
