Olafur Eliasson : Dans la vie réelle

16 ans après son exposition phare « The Weather Project» qui avait attiré plus de 2 millions de
visiteurs à la Tate Modern, Olafur Eliasson s’associe une nouvelle fois à la galerie londonienne
pour un événement exceptionnel. Intitulée « Dans la vie réelle », cette nouvelle exposition explore
les thèmes de prédilection du célèbre artiste islando-danois, que sont la nature, l’urgence
climatique et la géométrie. Bousculement des sens et perte de repères sont au rendez-vous grâce
à quelques 450 installations, dont parmi elles un impressionnant couloir de 39 mètres de long
plongé dans une épaisse brume et une spectaculaire chute d’eau de 11 mètres de haut. . I

Olafur Eliasson has a long relationship with Tate Modern. 16 years ago, his glowing sun, The Weather Project, drew
more than two million people to the Turbine Hall. This year, the Danish-Icelandic artist returns to Tate Modern with an
unmissable exhibition Olafur Eliasson: In Real Life. This Tate Modern’s latest retrospective of the artist, pulls together
38 works dating back to 1990 through to today. While none are as exhilarating as the 2003 show, however, Eliasson is
still able to able to tantalize the senses. Fitting that many of Eliasson’s works into one exhibition was no mean feat, and
not all of them can be found inside. The first of these greets visitors outside the London museum – a 11-metre-high
scaffolding structure with water cascading over its surface, called Waterfall. More interactive art follows. Your Blind
