Tunisian handicrafts are an integral part of a know-how and a
tradition of the country, the discovery of the artisans’ work,
the materials and the anchored techniques in a living heritage
that continues to evolve. You will be dazzled by the red coral
and silver jewelry of Tabarka, the carved wooden objects of Ain
Draham, Sejnane pottery, Kairouan carpets, Nabeul ceramics,
the wall tapestries of Gafsa or by the silk of Mahdia. You can

mosaics and enjoy the unique countless masterpieces and remains the Museum
houses. The crown jewel of the mosaic and museum collection is the only known
mosaic of the Roman poet Virgil.
