Mesmerising Provence
An outstanding region in the South of France, with unique picturesque villages and breathtaking landscapes. Nestled between land and sea,
Provence offers unique cuisine and crafts. A must-visit!

You can take from Marseille the roads bordered with lavender fields that lead to the most beautiful villages of Provence. You follow Marcel Pagnol’ s steps and contemplate the most alluring landscapes that inspired Van Gogh and Cézanne and made the uniqueness of their paintings. The three villages worth discovering – albeit different-perfectly depict the wealth and beauty of the region. From the ocher cliffs of Roussillon facing Luberon Natural Park to the white rocks of Baux-de-Provence in the heart of the Alpilles, passing by Arles and its Camargue park, a perfect exploration of Provence’ s absolute musts.

Roussillon and its incredible cliffs Ranked as one of the most fascinating villages in France, our journey starts with Roussillon. Located on a hill to the East of Avignon, facing Luberon Natural Park, this town is surrounded by incredible landscapes and owes its fame to its magnificent cliffs and impressive ocher quarries. Red, yellow
and brown contrast with the rich verdant trees. You will be charmed by its alleys and its picturesque architecture, whose ocher tints contrast with the blue sky. In addition to the numerous illustrious artists who have exalted these landscapes!
The Baux-de-Provence and its castle Our next stop is at the beautiful village of Baux-de- Provence. Located South of Avignon, at the top of a cliff, in the middle of the Alpilles mountains, the village offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. You can visit the stone fortress, the ruins of the castle and stroll through its alleys. An exceptional historical heritage with a trove of twenty-two architectural pieces classified as a historical monument: church, castle, town hall, hospital, chapels, houses, doors... not to mention the objects, furniture and a painting collection. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful sites in the region.
Arles, museum city
With a real cultural and architectural wealth, Arles is the most visited city of the region. Inscribed on UNESCO’ s World Heritage List, it has the largest number of Roman monuments after Rome. You will be able to discover its amphitheater, which is also called Arles arena. It is the most visited monument in the city, home to many shows and bullfights. Also worth visiting is the museum of ancient Arles and beautiful Camargue Nature Park. This commune of Bouches-du-Rhône department is also notorious for the many artists who stayed there, notably Van Gogh. Even today, it still is a meeting place for artists through its international photography festival. Very soon, Arles will also be equipped with a new center of contemporary art signed by the architect Frank Gehry, LUMA foundation. ا
