Le Musée Picasso Paris offre une exposition exceptionnelle
sur la genèse du célèbre tableau Guernica. L’évènement
organisé en partenariat avec le musée madrilène Reina
Sofia dévoile l’univers du symbole de la lutte antifranquiste
à travers un ensemble d’études préparatoires et d’archives
mêlant photographies de Dora Maar et esquisses de
Picasso. L’exposition propose ainsi une lecture de
Guernica, l’un des tableaux les plus connus au monde, et
éclaire la question politique de l’engagement de Picasso.I

The Musée national Picasso-Paris, in partnership with the National
Museum Reina Sofía Art Center, presents an exhibition about
Guernica. The anti-Franco, anti-fascist and pacifist symbol, which is
one of the most famous paintings in the world, will be unveiled to the public. Thanks
to an exceptional collection of sketches and archives, the exhibition proposes a
lesson on the history of Guernica and clarifies questions about Picasso’s political
