Photo shoots can be so fun and addictive. Do
not be afraid to bring up your ideas and ask
questions. Share with your photographer how
you want to show yourself to the world. You have
to remember, those pictures will represent you
and your work in front of your followers, your
fans, or more importantly, those artistic directors or choreographers of the company you’re
interested in taking part in and performing for.
When they see your pictures you want to give off
an aura that catches their eyes, that makes them
believe you belong with their company and that
they can trust you.

PICTURE THIS
Even if you’ve done few photo shoots or none at
all, you should know every shoot is different,
so clear your head, relax, and get lost in the
moment at present. When you go to have your
pictures taken you want to make sure you look
GREAT and exhibit your BEST SIDE. Be prepared
ahead of time— get your bag ready a day or more
before the photo shoot, so that you won’t be in a
rush to pack your bag an hour before and forget
any of your personal essentials. You want to be
relaxed on the day of the shoot.
Give yourself time to rest before the photo
shoot; keep your energy. You want to sleep a
good amount of hours to charge yourself up to
100%, because we’re going to work hard and
need to be focused.
Do not starve yourself!! Eat and drink. Just
make sure you do it right. We’ll need the energy
and color in your face.
Smile and have fun. Be there and give your
best, and you will get great results.
Most importantly:
Enjoy the experience!!!
Before I finish, let’s take a moment to have a
thought towards your next step for success.
Before your photo shoot, ask yourself what is
your goal and your purpose. How do you want
to show yourself?
Please share with me your thoughts or questions.

Everyone wants to show the world their hard
work, that they are the greatest at whatever
they do, no matter what it is—culinary arts,
construction, dancing, fitness training, etc.
The best way to do it is to administer the
WOW Effect.
Think of the visual images,
performances, or works of service that
make people stop and wonder,
“What’s he doing?” “How did she do that?”
“Do I like or love it?”
Eventually these people hire us to repair
their belongings, they purchase our paintings at art displays, they buy tickets to see
our performances, they click the price logo
next to an MP3 file to hear our songs...
