In our latest workshop , we had on the panel the much-requested Bureau of Contract Administration and breaking news regarding a new program benefit for contractors . Program Administrator Ingrid Merriwether , President and CEO of Merriwether and Williams Insurance Services , introduced honored guest , Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez .
Councilwoman Rodriguez opened the presentation by introducing the recentlylaunched Contractor Financing Assistance Program ( CFAP ). The pilot Contract Financing Assistance Program ( CFAP ) offers small local contractors enrolled in the City ’ s CDABP contract funding opportunities that provide cash flow assistance to fund labor , materials

and other contract-specific expenses while awaiting receipt of contract progress payments .
Navid Barkhordar and Robert Lowery of Merriwether & Williams presented the Contractor Development and Bonding Program ( CDABP ), explaining the benefits and services the program offers to small and diverse construction firms .
