New Power-Up Marketing Series Launched in March

In March , the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles Metro Contractor Development and Bonding Program hosted a new four-part Power-Up Marketing Series to provide minority contractors with the tools needed to develop a marketing plan and business model . Workshop topics included building a marketing foundation through assessing business capabilities , identifying market factors , developing a marketing strategy and creating targeted advertising messages .
The series was hosted by the Program administrator , Merriwether & Williams Insurance
Services ( MWIS ) – a leader in the insurance industry and one of the few Black womenowned insurance brokerage firms in the country . For over two decades MWIS has worked with contractors and public agencies to provide risk management consulting , contractor development programming , and bonding and insurance services .
