ideas of how the work should be done , which can make her job a lot harder . “ For example ,” she explains , “ they ’ ll have 1,000 feet of pipe for me to weld but when I get there , they ’ ve already hoisted all the pipe 40 feet up in the air , when it would be much more efficient for me to weld it on the ground first , before they lift it . I know that I can get the job done anyway and I ’ m always up to the challenge , but it ’ s not as much fun to be called in at the last minute with this kind of scenario . She is grateful that some clients will allow her to provide more input after the first few jobs , and as she ’ s developed stronger relationships with her clients , she ’ s become more confident in suggesting effective time-saving strategies .
