Bonus – Gomorrah – 2014 – 5 seasons – Available on Sky
Although this list is supposed to be just Netflix shows, I am too deeply embedded in the story of Gomorrah to not write about it. This is unlikely to be the first time you have been recommended this show, its 5 seasons speak volumes about its popularity, but if you are yet to watch it I urge you to do so. A gritty, real and touching depiction of Mafia life in Naples, Gomorrah is shockingly authentic and showcases not just the bloody side of Mafia life, but the psychological hurdles that particularly the heads of the organisation and their families have to face.
