Welcome to the Cultura section of La Civetta
You will also find a film review of Mia Madre giving you an a taste of the poignant and honest directing style of Nanni Moretti, a director, writer, producer and actor from Bruneck. Finally, we have included an article written by an Italian Erasmus student which explores ideas of gender identities which are shaking up the fashion world. It explores the various ways in which the fashion industry has challenged traditional gender roles and how we construct notions of male and female identities, looking at the impact on the catwalk and even in the political realm, whilst highlighting the ways in which this innovation has been received across Italy. This article is particularly interesting as it provides an insight into the ideas and perceptions of a student who has experienced both Italian and local Bristol culture, allowing us to gain intimate insights and draw comparisons between our ountries and societies.
We hope you find something here for you!
