Overall it looks to be a truly ground breaking tournament this summer: Brazil could win on home soil for the first time; Spain are looking less convincing in their attempts to retain the title; Germany haven’t been consistent at major tournaments; young exciting teams like Colombia could make real breakthroughs; and no one knows what to expect from the French or Argentinians. But England and Italy will be a game watched with anticipation in both countries. Will Italy live up to the now growing expectations? The match will surely set the tone for both countries in the World Cup. We are sure that Italy is on the march for glory in Brazil, but England could scrap that march early on and make it their own.
