Stella’s designs are not for the faint hearted, her bold clash of patterns and bright colours create eye-catching pieces which will tear you away from anything else going on around you. Although it’s true that bold designs always look good on 5ft 8 airbrushed supermodels, there are no rules as to how you wear her pieces; clashed together or taken apart there is no denying that these creations call for a Roman holiday. Although Marco’s designs are a lot subtler in their colour scheme, his pieces are made up of a wide variation of fabrics infusing his designs with life and creativity. The block patterns add an element of structure whilst the flowing nature of the fabric provides an interesting contrast. Marco is definitely one to watch this spring especially as his designs are so easy to wear; I am certain that there will be a lot of high street replicas popping up all over the place!

And finally we come to Fausto; well there are no words, just love, pure love.

It seems that spring this year has not only brought with it a juxtaposition of vivid and vibrant prints, but also a great deal of fashion show set designs which are becoming almost as iconic as the brands themselves. Maxi dresses, fringing, camel leather coats and sheer feathered flares were only some of the must-have pieces headlining Milan’s fashion week for Spring/Summer 2015 [SS15], not to mention the endless streams of tie-dyed silk! With iconic designer brands such as Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci stealing the show, the possibility of anybody less A-list joining the SS15 fashion extravaganza surely seemed impossible. However, this spring is making way for brand new contemporary designers straight from the heart of Milan. After endless years of admitting defeat and accepting London as the big brand capital, Milan finally has some innovative and original up and coming labels making their way onto the catwalk scene. This article welcomes you into the world of Stella Jean, Marco de Vincenzo and Fausto Puglisi who stole SS15 (just as the Grinch stole Christmas) and who are our top 3 designers to watch out for this spring.
