NUTELLA AND ICE

CREAM SANDWICHES

These ice cream sandwiches are perfect for a lazy night in with a hot chocolate. They are really easy to make and can also be put in the freezer, so you can have a great treat ready for any occasion.

Ingredients

Nutella

Vanilla ice cream

Chopped hazelnuts

Chocolate (whichever type you prefer)

Large waffle biscuits

Instructions

- Before starting, leave the ice-cream to soften slightly (so it can be spread easily)

- Put a sizeable ball of ice-cream onto one biscuit and spread over the surface (this should be quite thick)

- Spread a second waffle biscuit with a thick layer of Nutella. For easier application you could heat the Nutella slightly

- Put one biscuit on top of the other to make a sandwich

- Repeat with however many you would like to make

- Dip one half of each sandwich into slightly cooled and thickened melted chocolate and then dip into the chopped hazelnuts

- Wrap the sandwiches in cling film and put the final product into the freezer for a few hours to harden

- Now sit back and enjoy at your leisure!
