Kütüphanelerimizden Anasınıfı, İlkokul ve Ortaokul Derslerimiz / Preschool, Primary School and Middle School Classes Eylül ayında okulumuzun açılışı ile birlikte kütüphane derslerimize tüm sınıflarımız için hazırladığımız oryantasyonlarla başladık. Öğrencilerimize seviyelerine uygun şekilde kütüphane kuralları ve kullanımını anlatıp görseller paylaştık ve videolar izlettik. As the school was opened in September, our library classes started off with the orientations we prepared for all grade-levels. We explained the library rules and how the library is used to our students according to their levels and shared visuals and videos with them. Ekim ayı çalışmalarımız; hikâye dinleme ve resimleme, sözlük çalışması ve Destiny kütüphane programı eğiti- mi idi. Hikâye dinleme ve resimleme çalışmamızda, “Kütüphanedeki Aslan” kitabını okuduk, kurallar ve yardımseverlik üzerine konuştuk ve kitabın beğendiğimiz bir bölümünü resimledik. Sözlük çalışmasında, alfabenin çeşitli harfleri ile başlayan sözcükler hatırlamaya çalıştık ve verilen sözcükleri sözlükten bulmaya çalışarak anlamını öğrendik. Destiny kütüphane programı çalışmasında, öğrencilerimiz sistem üzerinde kendi adlarına hesap oluşturarak koleksiyon taraması yapmayı, okuma listesi oluşturmayı ve arkadaşlarına kitap önerisi yapmayı öğrendiler. In October the activities we carried out were listening to and illustrating short stories, dictionary activity, and training on the Destiny library software. For the short story activity we read the book titled “Kütüphanedeki Aslan” (Lion in the Library) and discussed the rules and helping each other and illustrated a part of the book that we liked. We tried to recall the words that start with various letters for the dictionary activity and looked them up in the dictionary and learned their meanings. For the Destiny library software activity our students opened their own accounts on the system and learned how to scan the collection, create a reading list, and recommend books to their friends.
