As a school director, I support all kind of projects both national and international. I believe that the
old school model of passively learning facts is no longer sufficent to prepare students to survive in
today’s world. We should focus on 21st century skills such as teamwork, problem solving, research
gathering, time management and utilizing high tech tools. As Sylvia Chard says, “One of the
mayor advantages of Project work is that it makes school more like real life” is the
best way to describe our attitude towards projects. With “Eco Friendly Actions” Erasmus
Project we try to raise awareness about nature. As a team, we study on alternative energy
resources, carbon footprint, renewable energy resources, categorizing the recycling materials,
ecological problems, saving energy and saving water. Addition to this Project, we are also a
member of International Eco School Programme and we support “ Clean Up The
World” Campaign. Everything we’ve done so far is for a better environment and a better
tomorrow. I want to thank my school Project teachers for the support and dedication to this
Project and also I want to thank the participant students.
