Editor’s Talk
T
he fundamental discovery of everyone’s life journey is the discovery of
one’s God given talents and to live
life in pursuit of manifesting what
has been deposited in us.
The sad reality however, is that many
people tend to live life being focused on
what people see on the outside rather
than investment made within.
In the book of 2nd Kings, we see a single
parent family that was led by a widow
(who had just lost her husband and the
father of her sons) having being led,
through a prophetic word from the Man of
God, to use what they had in the house in
order to obtain what they did not have.
This is found in 2 King 4-4-7 “ …4 then you
shall go in and shut the door behind you and
your sons, and pour out [the oil you have] into
all these containers, and you shall set aside
each one when it is full.” 5 So she left him and
shut the door behind her and her sons; they
were bringing her the containers as she
poured [the oil]. 6 When the containers were
all full, she said to her son, “Bring me another
container.” And he said to her, “There is not a
one left.” Then the oil stopped [multiplying]…”
In light of the challenges we face as a
country such as a lacklustre economic climate, high unemployment, low skills base,
limited access to resources (especially
funding), etc – it is easy to feel discouraged about one’s own future prospects.
This first issue of the KWG online mag is
however, dedicated to challenge our readers take stock of what is within rather
than allowing the external circumstances
dictate their circumstance. To be encouraged that which is within you is sufficient
to change the world around you.
And, ultimately to move our readers to
take action, whether be it to start a business, to write that blog or book, to register for a course, to do motivational talks –
whatever it is, our aim is to inspire you to
stir up the gift in you for the benefit those
around and in the process begin to build
wealth.
Therefore, make a list of talents, gifts and
attributes that you have in stock and ask
yourself how these can be put to use to
change your current situation. Doing this
will begin to set the ideal atmosphere for
wealth transfer
Be moved, be determined and live daily to
move towards seeing the transfer of
wealth by using what already exist.
I therefore challenge those that have the
ability to equip and empower others within
our nation in order to be set free financially, those who have the ability to transfer
skills and enable willing young people to
be empowered economically. Those who
have had the opportunity of obtaining
tools by furthering their studies- to arise
in this time of need and be moved to impart what you have for the betterment of
our society.
I believe this generation has the ability to
build a legacy worth written about in the
historic books and to become a company
of people that future generations to always make reference to
Let me conclude by drawing from Solomon’s wisdom: Ecclesiastes 11:4 –
“Whoever watches the wind will not plant
and whoever looks at the clouds will not
plant.” Those who wait for external circumstances to be suitable fail to take action but if we draw from what God put inside us we will bear much fruit. Its time
to take a step.
