ABE Wicklow
A group of students from Wicklow ABE travelled to the
Islamic Cultural Centre in Clonskeagh, Dublin as a result
of reading an interesting book that featured Islam. The
students had a tour of the mosque and experienced the
spicy smells and tastes of food from another culture in the
restaurant and the shop on the grounds.

West Wicklow FETAC Awards 2014
The luxurious surroundings of Tulfarris Hotel in
Blessington set the scene for the presentation of
FETAC awards in October. Students from ABE, VTOS,
Youthreach and BTEI proudly accepted their awards
which were a testament to their hard work, commitment
and dedication to learning.

Intensive Tuition Pays off for Students
in Baltinglass Adult Learning Centre
Hard work, dedication and sheer commitment have won
through for three members of the ITABE group who have
achieved a QQI Major Award in General Learning. Their
learning experience since 2010 has influenced many
changes in their lives and in their perspectives. In their
own words: ‘I am more positive in my outlook on life’; ‘I
feel more relaxed with myself in class now’; ‘I have made
some good friends over the last four years’.

BTEI in Baltinglass Adult Learning Centre Equips
Students with Skills and Competence for the Workplace
BTEI Computerised Manual Accounts QQI Level 5 class
beavering away in Baltinglass Adult Learning Centre. Their
enthusiasm, motivation and team spirit shine out from
this photo and added to the students’ diligent efforts,
make success a certainty. The skills and competence they
are learning on this course will qualify them to work in
administration, pay-roll and accounts.
