News from around the Schools & Centres
Curragh Post Primary School
The Curragh Post-Primary School choir sang at three major
events over the month of December. They performed to a
packed church at the Curragh Camp annual carol service
on Tuesday 16th of December, entertained the residents of
Oaklodge Nursing Home, Suncroft, on Thursday the 18th
of December, and sang on behalf of St. Vincent DePaul in
the Whitewater shopping centre in Newbridge on Friday
the 19th of December.
All three events were incredibly successful and the choir
was praised highly by all in attendance. The school would
like to acknowledge the effort and hard work of the school’s music teacher, Christine
McEvoy and all of the students and teachers involved.
We would also like to thank O’Brien’s sandwich company in the Whitewater for
providing tea, coffee and hot chocolate to the choir and teachers and donating
generously to St. Vincent DePaul.
