UPDATE ON INTEGRATION AND DEVELOPMENTS IN KWETB
FROM THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE
A
s part of our integration and
development plan, an overall KWETB
vision and associated value statements
were carefully drafted and were finalised after
considerable feedback was received from key
stakeholders. It now gives me great pleasure
to launch KWETB’s Vision Statement and Core
Values. The Vision and Value Statements set
the foundation of our organisation and help
direct the future and informs our working
ethos.

The KWETB Vision and Values will be reviewed
in each school, centre and service over the
coming months. I look forward to us all
working together to realise this overall vision
and way of working. I await hearing each of
your Vision and Value Statements that are
established locally in your place of work.
Substantial progress has been made with
regard to the integration of the individual
administrative areas; one of the most
significant developments has been the
full transfer of the Finance Function to the
Wicklow Office at the end of January 2015.
An immense amount of work went into this
project and its successful completion was
due to the efforts and cooperation of all
administration staff, staff who formerly worked
in Finance as well as the new team. I wish to
acknowledge the work levels of the HR Team
in the management of the largest recruitment
drive to date involving the processing of 4,000
applications through to the recruitment, payroll
