A small group of eminent explores and scientist came together in 1888 and formed the National Geographic Society. This genesis had left its mark on the 125 years of the organization as they have pushed the boundaries of the human story by taking an incredibly adventurous spirit of exploration and given the basis. Today it is the educational society and reaches over 280 million people across various forms of media having funded over 7500 scientific research projects.
