In our country, generally many students succumb to very high amount of pressure, especially from their family and teachers in terms of their career choices and studies Parents, across all income groups, are petrified about letting their child do anything less than engineering or other conventional courses. Awareness about new subjects may be there, but acceptability is missing. Arts is still considered a poor cousin of science subjects, even though it offers plenty of interesting and even well-paying career options. Just a little out-of-the-box thinking is needed. They need to allow their children to dream.”
For students, it is important to understand that suicide is not a solution. It only devastates not only their own but many other lives. There is help available out there! There are counsellors, psychologists and even special friends who are more than willing to help them cope with it.
But as all of us know about the conservativeness of our Indian society it’ s just like reading a book to a buffalo. It’ s of no use.
Do you know in most of the student suicide cases the facts are unknown! This is because the victims were not at all comfortable to express their feelings. So why do they suffer in silence?
I know these questions are unanswerable but at least try to find the X FACTOR in you! BECAUSE YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND!
Taking a recent example, despite this large population in our country we all have to just be satisfied about 2 medals in the Olympics. This is because these types of professions are not encouraged in India, but we do know about the capability of the Indian Youth!

I think this performance of sports will continue in in India till the PT periods in schools will be substituted with maths class!
We actually need to make our elders know that, these things make sense too!
We are youth, we can do anything! Life is not about academics but it is about your caliber, your knowledge!
