Vitamin E
ANTIOXIDANTS
It is a potent antioxidant found in wheat germ, almonds, soya, leafy vegetables, cold-pressed vegetables oils extracted from sunflower seed, corn, etc. It opposes oxidation and prevents ageing. When we are exposed to smog and pollution, taking vitamin E supplements helps limit the amount of damage done to the cells.
Vitamin A
Beta-carotene found in yellow, orange and red fruits and vegetables helps protect our lungs from air pollution. A glass of carrot juice, or a bowl of watermelon or papaya, would be an ideal way to start your day.
Vitamin C
It helps in maintaining healthy lungs function. It protects the lung from damage from smog exposure. To reduce the effects of pollution, you need at least 1000mg of vitamin C a day. However, if you are prone to kidney stones or have any other medical conditions, consult your physician.
Selenium
It activates the enzyme glutathione peroxidase in the body, which, in turn, helps keep the tissues of the lungs elastic. It is found in whole grain, beetroot, peas, soya beans and fish.

I hate school but don’ t get me wrong. I love seeing my friends everyday and learning new things. I hate school because we get judged every day for How well we can memorize our textbooks. We go to school for 6 ­7 hours a day. Takes classes that probably won ' t Benefit us in the long run and go home pg. 16
