ourselves.” Indeed, he is right. Life on planet earth is challenged with a legion of responsibilities, but you have it within you to determine your course. This course may subsume
meaningful elements along the way like love and friendship, loss or pain, all of which make
up one’s own purpose.
Life is a result of the values placed in it by man himself. It is what we believe and how we
carry out our message that creates the defining moments. I personally believe that God is
my strength and refuge. I have taken God as my source of a meaningful life. Miracles have
happened to me because of my spirituality. I am a product of the transformations that happened in my life over the years.
When I seek God, especially in trying times I am seeking happiness because I want my
soul to live. It is only in him that I am prompted to do extraordinary things. I intuitively
have a sense of where I am headed. Through service, I’ve added value to the lives of others.
My life is meaningful because I have spirituality in me.

Sesay, a business consultant specialist in

and geopolitics, Mike is a former professor of business administration at Stratford University in Falls Church, Virginia.
An ardent traveler and fluent in Russian
and conversational Hungarian, he has
visited over fifty-five countries in Africa,
Asia, Europe, and America to attend
meetings on political and economic issues affecting developing and developed
countries. From 1986-1990, Mike served
as the permanent representative (youth ambassador) of Sierra Leone to the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) and as WFDY deputy secretary general for Budapest,
Hungary. Through this post, he helped many Sierra Leoneans gain scholarships to study in
different professional fields such as medicine, engineering, agriculture and international
relations. From 1991 -1992, Mike served as head of the International Affairs of the APC
Party of Sierra Leone until the coup of 1992 which ousted the APC Party out of power. He
is a seasoned key note and guest speaker at seminars, workshops and ceremonial events.
Mike holds two master’s degrees with one in international business administration, a
bachelor’s degree in business, and an associate of applied science degree. He was born in
Brookfields, Freetown, Sierra Leone.
