WELCOME TO THE INAUGURAL ISSUE OF KUSHE’ MAGAZINE, a magazine devoted to the young, diverse, and up and coming Sierra Leonean professional. Publishing a magazine to embrace and empower young professionals in the community was new to many of us, but it’ s something we have long dreamed of. We are thrilled to finally see the first issue go live.
We want Kushe’ to be your voice – the voice of the young African professional. We want Kushe’ to celebrate your creative and innovative lifestyle, to cultivate communication, and to inspire action and achievement from our African sisters and brothers in the US and abroad. Kushe ' is your resource to share stories that support our communities, and more importantly, stories that will reach and empower young professionals around the world.
There’ s something here for everyone. During the year, Kushe will present articles on topics ranging from business and lifestyle to politics and entertainment. Kushe’ will promote businesses and announce special events. We’ ve created this magazine because it’ s or mission to help each other get the information we need to understand our environment, to succeed in our endeavors and to lend support to one another.
Thank you to the editors who compassionately lent us their expertise for the inaugural issue. And, thank you to the diversity of professionals, from activists to artists, who shared their captivating stories with Kushe’ – stories that we know will touch the hearts of many. As you have nourished us with your wisdom, we in return have produced Kushe’ magazine as our special gift to you.
