education , especially those who have lost one or both of their parents . Few have turned to prostitution to put food of the table for their siblings as they have no one to provide aid . Many of the children have never been inside a classroom . Instead they live their lives on the streets begging with their parents .
Fundraising
Melqosh Mission held four fundraising events and organized two donation campaigns in 2012 . Proceeds from these events and campaigns were used to implement two projects- Put a Christmas Smile on the Amputees ’ Faces 2012 which was held on the 26 th of December 2012 at the Rokel Amputee Camp . The Pre-Christmas Cookout for the Amputees took place at Grafton on the 1 st November 2012 .
