At KuSan, we are committed to making our collections with care- sustainable throughout every step of the way.
We start with our wool from New Zealand where farms sign up to voluntary agreements to deliver the best in animal husbandry. We want to be as confident as we can that our wool is produced through best practice.
In Nepal, we focus across the entire supply chain to make sure social, economic and ecological conditions meet international standards. In a country that faces political upheaval and the aftermath of last year’ s earthquake, the welfare of everyone connected with KuSan is even more crucial as life in Nepal can be hugely challenging. We want to support our workers and believe firmly that continuing to trade is the best way to help them, as well as raising considerable funds for NGO projects to assist in rebuilding Nepal.
We are independently audited by a SEDEX approved assessor and are proud to have achieved international social and environmental accreditation( SEDEX is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to driving improvements in ethical and responsible business practices in global supply chains). This demonstrates our all-round drive to keep sustainability and responsible production at the core of our values. We’ re glad to say that love and respect are at the heart of every KuSan accessory.
