The importance
of offerings
In Buddhist practice, offerings
can be in many forms. Whatever
form they take they nurture gen-
erosity and clarity in the mind of
the giver, and when dedicated to
others, help augment those quali-
ties in the world.
For example, offering light such
as a candle, is a powerful method
for destroying the darkness of ig-
norance and increasing wisdom.
