Finally baseball was over a I had a good 3 weeks of summer till football started. I continued to lift with Rory all summer every Monday Wednesday and Friday with out missing a day. Finally football came around I was the starting varsity which was kind of a big deal defiantly with all the pride and tradition we have her at North Fayette you usually do not start till your a Junior or Senior. I played my first game verse Postville and on the first run I had I went 55 yards and then got tripped up. The next run I had was 25 yards for my first TD. The football season continued and I hurt my knee and we weren’t going to make the play offs so I just played with a hurt knee and ended up tearing my MCL verse Sumner. I was out for quite some time and missed the first half of wrestling. Finally we got back from Christmas break and I could wrestle I didn’t start out to hot. I got back into a groove and finished the season 11-10. Sophmore year of track went by didn’t do anything special wasn’t the fastest kid out there. That summer I work and work and worked I expected big things to happen my junior year of school. We merged with Valley and they were going to help out us out in our weak spots for football. The football season went off now it was time for all that hard work to pay off. We went undefeated beat South Winn who everybody thought that they were going to beat us. We lost to Sumner which was kind of a wake up call that we can be beat and we got to play better if we want to make it to the dome. We played Hudson first round and beat them pretty bad then we played Nashua Plainfield and beat them really bad. Then we played South Winn again and they thought yet again that they would beat us but they didn’t even come close. We went to the dome and played Iowa City Regina and lost to them in the dome then I worked during the winter and went out for track was one of the faster guys in the state Ran at the Drake Relays. Pulled a hamstring the week before state so I couldn’t run at state. I excpect even bigger things my senior year.
