Do you hear it???? Can you feel it??? You
wondering what that raw, head banging,
righteous sound is? That would be the up and
coming metal band DISRUPTED EUPHORIA!!
Disrupted Euphoria, consisting of Hannah Rebel
(lead singer), Shadowsill (guitar), Sparky (bass),
and Mr. Lips (Drums); have formed the next
sound and class of metal music. With Hannah’s
angelic devil sound and Shadowsill’s amazing
guitar riffs you will be blown away.
How did it all start? Back in March 2015, sitting around a tree at Moorpark College, college kids talking about all sorts of
topics. Shadowsill, with guitar in hand (which never left his hands), just got accepted at the Musician's Institute, and
was looking to start a band. What he figured out by sitting around that tree was that the band was sitting right in front
of him. Hannah has been singing since birth, Sparky has been playing bass for several years, as well as Mr Lips on
drums.
Their practice started at GO DPS in Newbury Park. They would rent out a studio for a ½ hour and start jamming and
writing songs. In June of 2015 they had their first gig, a backyard BBQ. Hannah being extremely nervous and Sparky
running late with Mr. Lips, made Shadowsill extremely irritated (it was quite funny!). But, they rocked the house and it
gave them the confidence they needed to step it up. They started playing every Thursday at a pizza place in Moorpark
doing Open Mic Nights.
Practices started to get expensive so it was now down to which of the band mates parent's would let them practice in
the garage. Mr. Lips' dad (who lives in the mountains) was most gracious when he drew the short straw. With practices
twice a week and open mic every Thursday the band was getting the sound they were in search for.
