FEATURED EVENTS
COOKS NETWORKING & WORKSHOP DAYS
These special workshop days for Cooks in early and middle childhood settings will provide
access to new information, ideas and hands-on cooking opportunities.
Participants can attend one or both days, and the second day will be tailored to follow up
and support learning for those who attended the first.
The first workshop will be presented by early childhood teacher, mother and blogger Elisha
Wildblood from Nourish. Nurture. Shine, who will offer insight into creating nourishing and
wholesome food alongside children, and will draw on years of experience as a teacher and
mother to provide tips, strategies and ideas for cooking for and with children.
The second workshop of the day, a cooking demonstration, will be presented by Charlotte
Pate rson, KU Carillon Avenue Children’s Centre Cook, who will share and demonstrate
recipes. Charlotte draws on her experience as a professional chef, committed and successful
‘kitchen gardener’ and mother, to provide new ideas and well-loved recipes when catering
for large groups of young children.
