FEATURED EVENTS COOKS NETWORKING & WORKSHOP DAYS These special workshop days for Cooks in early and middle childhood settings will provide access to new information, ideas and hands-on cooking opportunities. Participants can attend one or both days, and the second day will be tailored to follow up and support learning for those who attended the first. The first workshop will be presented by early childhood teacher, mother and blogger Elisha Wildblood from Nourish. Nurture. Shine, who will offer insight into creating nourishing and wholesome food alongside children, and will draw on years of experience as a teacher and mother to provide tips, strategies and ideas for cooking for and with children. The second workshop of the day, a cooking demonstration, will be presented by Charlotte Pate rson, KU Carillon Avenue Children’s Centre Cook, who will share and demonstrate recipes. Charlotte draws on her experience as a professional chef, committed and successful ‘kitchen gardener’ and mother, to provide new ideas and well-loved recipes when catering for large groups of young children. Wednesday 5 May Wednesday 8 November 9:00am – 2:30pm Sydney Seafood School – Ultimo $260 (One day) NQS Area 1 & 2 These workshops will be followed by the opportunity to go into the Sydney Seafood Cooking School and cook in small groups exploring new recipes, methods and ingredients. Both days will close with a networking lunch that will provide a forum to share recipes and ideas.
