rating is the ability to demonstrate
a level of influence that extends
beyond the centre. KU Lance has
taken a leadership role within the
sector through participation in
research, and shares knowledge
and practice with others through
Professional Learning Communities,
meetings and conferences.
Preschool children from KU Lance
have also taken steps to make
connections much farther afield
by joining the ‘Travelling Hearts
Project’ to share ‘a little love’ with
the wider community. Children work
collaboratively to handmake small
heart-themed gifts and distribute
these via the local community centre.
