We support the charity event " Danmarks Indsamling " and help vulnerable children around the world
We have supported the charity event Danmarks Indsamling for many years and did it again in February [ 2022 ?] when money was raised for the world ’ s most vulnerable children .
War , drought , climate crisis , lack of medicines , coronavirus aftermath . Disasters are many – and they hit the world ' s poorest children the hardest . That is why we donated DKK 150,000 in [ 2022 ?] to the projects initiated by Danmarks Indsamling ’ s 12 aid organisations to help vulnerable children in the world . The projects focus in particular on Global Goals 1-4 and 6 and create hope and opportunities for a better future for children by giving them access to education , food and water , medical care and treatment .
“ Danmarks Indsamling is a great initiative , because it draws attention to the miserable conditions that people in the world ’ s poorest countries are living in , and because the money is targeted specific projects that help children and their families . We have an obligation to help our fellow human beings who do not have the same opportunities as we have , and we have a long tradition of supporting Danmarks Indsamling . We are happy to do so again this year , so that we together can help make a difference for the many vulnerable children and families around the world ”, says managing partner Christina Bruun Geertsen .
One of the organisations behind the event is SOS Children ’ s Villages , which we have had a long-standing pro bono partnership with . According to Danmarks Indsamling , DKK 50,000 can provide 2,000 children in Rwanda with health insurance for one year .
