Benefits of being the only Danish member of the global Lex Mundi network Lex Mundi is the world ' s leading network of independent law firms . The purpose of Lex Mundi – and the reason why we are member – is to bring together a group of high-profile law firms , so that we can help each other in international cases and deliver a better product to our clients . Each of the more than 125 member countries is represented by one law firm – Kromann Reumert is the Danish member .
One of the benefits of being part of the Lex Mundi network is that each member undertakes to provide a certain amount of free advice to the other members . This is often relevant in cross-border transactions , where swift clarification of issues in jurisdictions that we are not too familiar with can make the transaction move forward .
The Lex Mundi network is also a great help , where we are asked to recommend local advisers in jurisdictions that we do not liaise with on a regular basis . By checking the network , we are sure to find a law firm that provides the highest quality advice and has an international mindset .
Lex Mundi does a great job in strengthening co-operation between its members and their clients . The network hosts several events every year – most recently we participated in the annual " Cross-Border M & A " conference in London , where member firms can invite clients to attend . The conference brought together members from all over the world , and especially in these times it is exciting and important to hear how different markets respond to inflation , war , COVID , and surging energy prices .
