How do I apply? (BARSAS) What is BARSAS? BARSAS stands for Bar Students Application Service. It is the online application platform for all BPTC applications. It can be accessed through this website: https://www.BarSAS.com/ Each provider can be contacted separately but no applicants can be offered a place directly from the provider. Six providers can be chosen. The provider sets the academic requirements but the other requirements are set by the Bar Standards Board. There are two rounds to an application: 1st round: First three preferences of providers will be considered. All offers will have an expiry date. Applicants may accept one offer only. 2nd round: This happens when all three providers do not offer a place and hence, the further three providers will be considered. Also, applying after the closing date of the first round will be considered for the second round. Besides, if you reject all three providers in the first round you will then be considered in the second round. NOTE: The provider can see the numbering of preference you have put them in the order of 1 – 6 but they cannot see what other providers you have put in. So be careful which provider you put as your first choice!
