In his creative output , renowned Swedish artist Ernst Billgren has a habit of moving between artistic expressions , not seldom executed with themes close to nature and a light-hearted touch . The New Friends series , launched in 2008 , is an excellent example .
The animal motifs become one with the glass in a clever , playful and decorative way . One animal for each piece , masterfully made by the Kosta Glassworks ’ craftsmen .
