Southern Sweden ’ s Kingdom of Crystal has a proud tradition of pushing the craft forward . An example is the technique called glass centrifugation , which was invented here in the 1950s . In the collection Contrast , this technique comes into its own , where the coloring ’ s path through the glass - using color powder and sticks - creates billowing veils , giving each object a unique pattern .

Contrast from Kosta Boda was launched in 2005 and consists of bowls , dishes and vases in several sizes and colors .
