Ulrica Hydman-Vallien
It has been over five years since the unimaginable and sudden passing of Ulrica Hydman Vallien . She left behind a huge empty space , which is particularly evident here in Kosta . But her glass art lives on each day right before our eyes . Ulrica combined her unlimited creativity with the superb craftsmanship of the glass studio . Whether large or small , drinking glass or airplane , her creativity was unmissable : it went straight into our hearts and she remains invaluable to us at Kosta Boda . This is our fourth tribute collection in memory of Ulrica . These objects are carefully chosen and hand-painted by glass-painter Charlotta Kjellander , with whom Ulrica worked closely for many years .
