Kosta Boda ' s products are designed by well-known Scandinavian artists and designers like Bertil Vallien , famous for his one-million-dollar boat first presented at SOFA Chicago , and Kjell Engman with his celebrated guitars and handmade awards such as the American Song Contest Award . With the future in mind , new collaborations with young , aspiring designers are always a priority for us .
Several of Kosta Boda ' s collections have been honored with prestigious awards - the Limelight collection has for instance previously received the distinction " Excellent Swedish Design " for its construction , handed out by the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design .
