Anne Nilsson ( b . 1953 ). After being trained in glass and ceramics at the University College of Arts , Crafts and Design in Stockholm , she became a designer at Höganäs Keramik AB . Since 1982 she has created several popular glass series for Orrefors and Kosta Boda . In fact , she ’ s received the Excellent Swedish Design award for 15 different product series . She creates unexpected , simple forms that add a touch of beauty to everyday life . |

Matti Klenell , born 1972 , is a well-known designer who has been acclaimed for his innovative contributions to the evolution of the Scandinavian design tradition . His work is always based on thorough research , including an analysis of need , the target group and the purpose of the task and product . He then usually creates a large quantity of sketches , prototypes and models before achieving the optimal result . His carefully designed products are characterized by form , function , character and personality . Not rarely , he also adds the twist of an exquisitely considered detail . |
