We believe that the development of hydrocarbon resources should contribute to national development and economic growth, providing shared value for all Ghanaians. BEING A RESPONSIBLE AND ACTIVE NON-OPERATOR WITHIN THE JUBILEE UNIT Today, the Jubilee Unit is comprised of Kosmos Energy, Tullow Oil, Anadarko Petroleum, PetroSA and Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC). In addition to working together on technical and operational aspects of field production and development, the co-venturers have established several social investment programs to support local communities in the six coastal areas nearest the Jubilee field. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN OPERATOR AND NONOPERATOR Tullow Oil is the operator of the Jubilee field and thus oversees the day-to-day operations related to oil production. It is responsible for much of the decision-making and data reporting associated with how the field is managed and produced. As a non-operator, Kosmos provides technical expertise to ensure the field is operated to the highest possible standards. For example, we review and monitor the progress of the operations on safety and environmental standards. We also make significant contributions through our social investment projects. The majority
