H
ello lovely readers and photo-ad-
mirers, I’ll be going full landscape
“Ninja Mode” in this edition of the
Korzandos Magazine.
Let me clear your thoughts on this, Land-
scape and nature photography are two different
categories in Photography. Landscape entails
capturing well aligned and compositionally
filled images of the earth (being it the atmo-
sphere, ground level or the two fused togeth-
er) whereas Nature photography is embedded
in Landscape where you get to use the Macro
lens and other wide angle lenses for better view
and sharpness of animals and living things. We
shan’t discuss the details of Landscape today.
That is better left for another time.
Let’s roll over to the fun but technical part
to show you how some of my landscape images
were captured. The image above is one of my
post processed landscape.
(BTW I’m Eugene Ansu-Adjei)
In the post-process of this image, only co-
lours were added to the top part of the clousds.
Every other detail you see wasn’t manipulated
in Photoshop or whatsoever.
I used the Canon 1100D to shoot this im-
age in a moving bus at a speed of approximate-
ly 100km/h or more. Try that with your smart-
phone and you’ll get either a motion-blurred
image or not so much of an image to your sat-
isfaction.
I captured it at a shutter speed of 2500th of
a second (1/2500). An f-Stop (aperture) of 5.6
because I wanted to get every angle sharp. Shot
with an 18-55mm lens at length 55 mm and
ISO 400 because I wanted to keep every little
detail and light on point.
Details
Shutter Speed: 1/2500 sec.
Aperture: f/5.6 55.
Lens: 18-55mm
ISO Sensitivity: 400.
